BRIEF
Rocky Road Trail Races is a conceptual event organizer in BC, Canada, where existing events routinely sell out well in advance. Intending to contribute to the sport’s growth, Rocky Road welcomes all athletes for enjoyable, scenic events.
INSIGHT
Trail running is about the experience more than the final result. Though there will always be race winners and speed goals, trail runners tend to focus less on pace and more on the enjoyment of the environment and the technical challenges of uneven ground.
INTENT
Inspiring photography highlighting the beauty of the coastal mountains takes centre stage. Focus on the journey and achievement of race completion instead of finish times.
RESULT
I created a brand identity, website design, social assets, and a sample race medal within one week, drawing inspiration from the colours of the forest.
